The countdown is on for Centrepoint’s Sleep Out Bradford 2019, which is now just over six weeks away.
On Thursday November 21, brave teams, including supporters and sponsors, will join the Bantams to swap their beds for sleeping bags – and camp overnight at the Utilita Energy Stadium.
The City-hosted event, in support of the Centrepoint initiative, is set to return to Bradford for its third consecutive year.
This week, Centrepoint representatives were invited down to the club’s Woodhouse Grove training base as members of Gary Bowyer’s first-team squad posed for photographs to show their support for the cause.
The fund supports homeless youngsters, and participants of the Bantams’ event will be doing so for 150 young homeless people Centrepoint support in Bradford, every day.
Sleeping on the concourse of the JCT600 Stand, at the ground, last year’s event saw more than 130 locals play their part in raising £30,000 to support the charity’s work.
Entry for the 2019 event is priced at £15, and the club are determined to make this year’s Sleep Out Bradford and even bigger success.
