Goalkeeper Sam Hornby has joined AFC Fylde on a short-term loan deal.
Hornby, 24, arrived at the Utilita Energy Stadium during the summer and has made two competitive appearances since joining the club.
The former Port Vale stopper will remain with the Mill Farm outfit until at least the start of January.
City manager Gary Bowyer said: “It is a great opportunity for Sam to go and get minutes under his belt.
“We have seen how playing regularly has brought George Sykes-Kenworthy on – and we are wanting the same for Sam.
“He is joining a great club and we are excited to see him develop.”
